 ACTIVITIES

 

March 29 - It's Kite & Bike Day with soup and bread at Lake Galena. Be at Pavilion #1 at12:00  noon.

April 11 - First Night at the Country Players. "Don't Drink The Water" by Woody Allen. It's a spoof on the Cold War behind the Iron Curtain.

May - October - Commerce Bank Amphiteater. Join us for free concerts.   www.bcbaevents.com

May 24-25.  Visit the 9/11 ill-fated crash site of the United 93 and Memorial Site in Shanksville, PA. Since this is close to Johnstown; so we will also look into the history of the Johnstown flood and also the famous Inclined Plane.

This is scheduled to be a motorcycle ride but all are welcome to ride in their cars and join in the fun. We’re staying at the Holiday Inn in Somerset PA. Rooms are $97 per night-615-494-9460. Please contact Russel Schuss at 215- 997- 2287,  or  russtheskipper@verizon.net  if you’re going.

June  28  - Betsy and Mel Gensamer will have their annual picnic.

July 27 -  Picnic at Lake Nockamixon near the marina. Come around 10AM and take some rides in a sailboat and perhaps a kayak ride. Also we’ll have some games for those waiting to paddle or sail. Let’s spend a nice day in the park.

August 8,9,10 -  Join us for our second annual campout in West Cape May. Pitch a tent in this nice clean camp, cook out, eat out and ride your bike to the lighthouse seashore park. Swim in the ocean.  A camp site is about $40 and you can share the cost with others. Two tents per site.  Got camping gear? Let’s go!  Please contact Russ at 215-997-2287 if interested.

August 23 -  It’s a day at Camel Beach.  What? You’ve never heard of Camel Beach. Well in the winter it's Camelback, and in the summer, it’s Camel Beach. Water slides, a wave pool and lost of sand! Spend the day there. Gate price is $29.95 for adults and $24.95 for seniors. But if we have enough for a  group,  tickets are $19.95. Remember, August is HOT. Please contact Russ.

 

 

LEARN TO SKI PROGRAM

Our club membership benefit is the chance to participate in the FREE Learn-to-ski program. The program ranges in skill level  from never-ever skiers through those making open parallel turns. Classes are held at Spring Mountain on six nights beginning on January 7, 2008.
